Since its launch in 2016, CSS Peeper has helped over 500,000 designers and developers explore and extract website styles effortlessly. Whether you’re inspecting colors, fonts, assets, or design properties, CSS Peeper has saved countless hours by eliminating the need to dig through complex code.
CSS Peeper will always remain free for its core features, ensuring that users can continue to enjoy the essential tools without any cost. However, in order to better support the extension and enhance the overall user experience, we have decided to integrate advanced features into paid plans.
This will allow us to invest more resources into improving CSS Peeper and delivering even greater value. We also have plans to introduce additional free features in the future, so users can look forward to even more powerful tools without a price tag.

Explore Design Properties
With CSS Peeper, you can inspect and explore a variety of design details, allowing you to understand how a website is built. Whether redesigning a site or simply learning from others' designs, CSS Peeper makes it easier to understand and work with the details that shape the visual experience. By inspecting the following design details, you can accurately replicate, adapt, or optimize the visual styling of elements without digging into complex code.
Browsing Colors
The Colors tab lets you browse all the colors used across the page. You can copy individual colors or export the entire color palette. The exported palette is compatible with popular design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Suite. If you're on the the Professional plan, you get access to the Categories tab, where you can browse colors by semantic grouping including: text colors, background colours, foreground colors, border colors, and shadow colors.
Experience Typography Like Never Before
Explore the entire range of fonts and styles used across the site. This feature allows you to view and analyze the complete typographic hierarchy, from headings to body text, making it easy to understand how different text styles are applied throughout the website. Typography is exclusively available in Professional and Ultra plans.
Contrast Checker
CSS Peeper helps you stay aligned with the best accessibility practices by providing valuable insights into color contrast and its impact on readability. You can instantly assess contrast issues, ensuring your websites are beautiful and accessible. Accessibility features are available in Professional and Ultra plans.
Explore Assets
Browse and download all images, icons, and graphics used across a website. It’s perfect for designers and developers who need to reuse existing assets for redesigns or reference. Easily download individual assets or export all detected assets.
